Cecile Kayirebwa, Muyango, Ruti Joel and Cyusa Ibrahim promised to their best in the Sunday’s Concert “Iwacu Muzika Festival 2023 Gakondo” that will be held in BK ARENA in the closing of the “Iwacu Muzika Festival Tours” that have been crossing the country.
This is an ending Tours concert of the “Iwacu Muzika Festival tours” called “Iwacu Muzika Festival 2023 Gakondo” that will host the best Traditional Artists {Gakondo} including Cecile Kayirebwa, Muyango, Cyusa Ibrahim, Ruti Joel and others on this Sunday, 27 November 2023 in BK Arena at 4Pm.
This concert is going to be held in Kigali after that others last Concerts were crossing over the different distsricts of the Country, like Muhanga, Musanze, Ruhango, Huye and Ngoma with the selected Rwandan famous artists like Bruce Melodie, Bushali, Bwiza, Riderman, Niyo Bosco,
“Iwacu Muzika Festival Concerts” came up as the Formal “Guma Guma Super Star” but in the new Image and brand names, But with the same purpose of entertaining Rwanda who like Rwandan Music and as the to motivate Rwandan local artists and make their dairy music their source of income.
In today’s Press Conference in BK Arena with the fellow Traditional stars Cecile Kayirebwa, Muyango, Cyusa Ibrahim, Sophia Nzayisenga, and Ibihame by’Imana they reminded how important was their musics in people lives and how they should be treated nowadays, How to encourage the young people to stick on the Culture and other issues with the Concert.
Based on the Culture, Said to encourage the young to love and respect Culture should start with the Journalists because the way they promote the traditional culture Songs generate it’s popularity in the young ones. Cyusa requested the Rwandan Media to pasinate Culture and promote Rwandan Culture in the their songs.
He said “You guys who are DJs, Radio Personalities you are the ones responsible for Culture decline because you have the big part to make people love and practice it through platforms, Now look if you guys try to play our musics in the different events like the way you do to the Circular Music, If you it like this, I promise people will also like our songs and will make them be interested in Culture.”
Muyango who will be performing some of his Songs on the Album that will launch soon, Said if though people think that they are old and no more able to use the energy on the Stage, they are wrong because they are still strong and ready to something new on Sunday just people have to attend and prove that.
He will also sing his song with Ruti Joel that they have surprised the Journalists when they shortly sang it in the Press Conference.
Cecile Kayirebwa told the Media that they are going to perform with their best and the Crowd will enjoy to the fullest like they do on those young artists. She said that even though it’s her first time to perform in the new Entertainment Hall “BK Arena” she will give her best and she will enjoy the show in her motherland as she was likely to do it outside the Country where she lived.
EAP Manager Bubu said there is no problem by fixing this Concert on Sunday the holy day, Where by most take their and get rest, He said those who really like Traditional Songs will have to be there, and that there no fear that they will lose people because there is another concert on the same day.
The legendary Cecile Kayirebwa also commented on the issue about the past case, where she recommended to restrict the power play of her musics due to un profiting from it, She said people should respect their art work and buy them to value them motivate them, but that she is no more restricting people from playing or selling her Art work because it’s not easy and it is somehow impossible.
In her speech she thanked the EAP for the opportunity given them as the Traditional Culture representatives, That thinking of the Rwandans who love their musics and culture in general was highly appreciated and will make her another beautiful memorable nights in her life. With the energy of their age, She promised to the best as they used to do the years ago.
