Uncategorized

Umuhoza Barbara is a lady who works as a translator. She became famous as a preacher at Zion Temple. As she has a talent for deciphering languages, but to reach the level she is now, she has been able to master it since she was young until now.

She started to do this as a child when She was 15 years old and She did it in a youth group She was praying in called Winner Youth. And She does it because she sees the need, not knowing that it will be something big. So she continued it in the Zion Temple where she preached to people but did not reach the level of preaching in front of people and went to preach to the guests during the meetings but one by one they sat in the normal seats.

Barbara then went to study in England where she had enough time to read many books that helped her to improve her English even more. It was in England that she again approached the pastors of the Zion Temple there and told them that she would go and help them to destroy and they would give her a site.

When she translated, she found that people enjoyed it and even gave her another chance to translate again. After returning to Rwanda, Barbara continued to preach again in the Zion Temple, but this time in front of a large crowd.
She is currently leading a team of translators at Zion Temple and also does translation as a freelancer.

The secrets Barbara used to improve her talent.

1. Not being afraid to show her work: In her life, Barbara is not afraid to show her work, she says that she can’t see things that die and she can keep quiet. That made him approach various leaders and tell them that he would help them in the demolition.

2. Consulting people who inspire her: Barbara said, “I think it’s my goal to reach out to people.” Consulting is good, but when you consult with people who discourage you, it’s better to choose to work with people who inspire you.

3. Love to learn and search: Even though she knew she had a talent for reading, she didn’t give up on it, instead she continued to learn more by reading different books and said, “I’m still learning”. She also advises others who like this job that talent is good but that you should not use it without proper knowledge.

4. Don’t turn back the opportunity: Barbara has been making good use of the opportunity she has been given to improve. Although she started at a very young age and sometimes felt afraid, it did not stop him from doing what was asked of her, even when she was asked to defecate in front of many people for the first time, she did it even though he felt afraid in her heart.

5. Prayer: in improving her talent, Barbara has been praying and as she says she is guided by God to train herself about language and to use it to be productive.

Barbara says, “Every person has a gift that God has given him, whether he is a Christian or not, so it is important to use every gift that a person has because even if it is delayed it will benefit him or others.”
Barbara advises women and girls not to be afraid but to do whatever they can without giving up looking out for others.

Currently, Barbara, as the head of the translation team at Zion Temple, wants the work she is doing to be able to train many others to do it like her and even better because she sees it as a good work.
