The Government of Rwanda has announced that it has made changes aimed at promoting and supporting the arts and culture policy where it has changed the responsibility of the Ministry of Youth to be able to improve it.
This is contained in the announcement made on the evening of Thursday, December 14, 2023 by the Office of the Prime Minister arts and culture, In this announcement, the Prime Minister’s Office continues to say that the changes are aimed at promoting and supporting the arts and culture policy.
Given these responsibilities, it was also renamed the Ministry of Youth and Arts Development, instead of the Ministry of Youth as usual, the Ministry of Youth is one of the most frequently changed responsibilities and names depending on the responsibilities given to it.
The Ministry of Youth was added to the responsibilities of the arts that have been in responsible by “MINUBUMWE”, which was then renamed the Ministry of Youth and Development of the Arts,
Many remember that it was called the Ministry of Youth after the Ministry of Youth and Culture had the responsibility of the Ministry of Youth and Culture. The confiscated items were taken to “MINUBUMWE” where they will continue to be registered according to the announcement of the Prime Minister.
It goes on to say, “The Ministry of the Unity of Rwandans and Civil Organizations (MINUBUMWE) will preserve the cultural heritage in its responsibilities. Both ministries will continue to cooperate in the preservation and development of Culture, Arts and Crafts.”
