Where Rwanda came from and where it wants to go, Should be based in the hearts of Rwandans. President KAGAME’s Speech in the Umushyikirano Country Meeting on this Tuesday 24 January 2024.
The unique feature of the National Negotiation Council is that it connects all Rwandans with leaders in different sectors. It is a good time, the leaders meet the people and everyone is responsible for building the Rwanda that Rwandans want. It is planned that 11:00 am is when the National Meeting Umushyikirano2024 will start.
President Kagame said that what the youth should fight against is known because it includes things from the history of the country while the rest is what Rwandans share with the outside world which includes bad culture and bad politics.
“They must understand that it does not prevent us from building the country properly. Those young people are the ones I’m talking about the most. You must understand the seriousness of your responsibilities as citizens, as people who deserve to be living people, to build yourselves, to build your families, to build your country.”
“All the 30 years includes two things; the tragedy of the Genocide against the Tutsis and the country turning into a different country Rwandans should not be related to the history they remember.” President Kagame Added.
President Kagame said that where Rwanda came from and where it wants to go, should be based on the hearts of Rwandans. He said, “In order to achieve that, you don’t do things. Here in Rwanda, it is not the Rwandans that you live in, it is our home, it is your home.”
The Head of State said that wherever they go they will find problems, so they should sit down and find a solution for their own, instead of running away to a place where they hope they won’t find it and everywhere there are problems.
