A Ugandan mother named Mariam Nabatanzi Babirye, popularly known as ‘Mama Uganda’, says she is struggling to provide for her 44 children because her husband divorced her in 2015.
Another thing that the mother says is very difficult for her, is to get the school fees for her children between the ages of six and twenty-eight (6-28), where she confirms that she works three different jobs to get the money to continue taking care of them. because the father abandoned them because there were so many of them and he could not continue to take care of them.
The mother says that she faces many problems in raising her children, because she has no other help.
Speaking to celebrity YouTuber Drew Binsky, she said, “I’m raising my kids on my own after my husband left me. My father helped me when I was a very young teenager, then because the one who married me hated me so much, there was no love or harmony, and then he had four other women”.
Nabatanzi says that her husband married her at the age of 45, while she was 12 years old, then he left her because she had many children.
He said, “Many men take care of their children only when they grow up, for example if it’s a girl, the mother wants to be close, because she knows that she will bring money to the family through marriage”.
Nabatanzi says that apart from school fees, there is also the cost of paying for all these children, which is also very difficult for him, because medical care is expensive, and he has no other help.
He said, “My mother left me three days after I was born, and my father, who is still alive, sold me in a sad way. They gave him cows, goats and money.”
The newspaper ‘TimesNow’ writes that Mariam Nabatanzi Babirye, is considered the first woman in the world (The most fertile woman in the world), because she is now 40 years old, and has 44 children, after she gave birth for the first time when she was 13, she gave birth to twins.
When she went to the doctor, the doctors told her that she had abnormally high sperm count, and told her that she should never take birth control pills, because it would cause serious problems in her body.
It was later discovered that Nabatanzi’s fertility is a family trait, as confirmed by Dr. Charles Kiggundu, a gynecologist at Mulago Hospital in Kampala, who said that they are born in such a way that many eggs can be released at the same time. , which makes it more likely that she will have twins.
The mother was told by doctors that she should continue to have children to reduce her fertility, so that among her 44 children, including the ones she gave birth to as twins 4 times, she gave birth to triplets 5 times, and gave birth to quadruplets 5 times as well . Only once did she give birth to one child.
Although Natabanzi is the mother of 44 children, she had an accident and lost 6, now she is left with 20 boys and 18 girls to raise alone, after the person who gave birth to them abandoned them and took all the money that helped her to raise them.
