This journalist, who usually does investigative stories, said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Burundi, Martin Niteretse, was the one who announced that the border was closed, and informed the authorities of Kayanza County, The newspaper SOS Media Burundi also announced that this decision was taken, and that some people who wanted to enter Burundi from Rwanda were prevented from entering the Ruhwa border.
