Malawians are at risk of extreme hunger as a result of the drought caused by the storm “Freddy”, where until now it is difficult to find food to eat, as confirmed by the President of that country.
It is the drought that continues to take another step, even more dangerous.

The rains in the country have been sporadic in the regions that make up the country.

The President of Malawi, Lazarus Chakwera, announced that he toured his country to find out about the drought situation.

He said 44% of the maize crop has been affected by severe drought, with 2 million households in urgent need of food aid due to famine.

He asked international organizations to urgently help his people who are in danger and need at least 600,000 tons of food.
So far in Neno District there are 7000 houses that need to be helped to build others while in the whole country about two million people are at risk of hunger.
