Security agencies in Kayonza District have started an investigation into the cause of the death of a young man between the ages of 25 and 30, who was lying dead in a field, and it appears that he may have been beaten with sticks.
The body of this young man was found at around 8:00 am on Monday, February 26, 2024, in Gatebe Village in Kayonza Ward in Mukarange Sector, The Executive Secretary of Mukarange Sector, Ntambara John, told Media thanks to this story that the body of a young man between 25 and 30 years old was found with many injuries and it appears that he was beaten and thrown there.
He said, “We found that body somewhere in the field, considering that it is a place of residence even though they were not living there but it is also a place far from other houses. As soon as we found out, we went there with other agencies including the Police and RIB and decided to send him to Gahini Hospital for an examination because the body was not damaged, it seems that those who beat him or killed him did it at night.”
Gitifu Ntambara went on to say that the RIB immediately started an investigation to find out who killed the person and what caused it, He said that they would also look for the family of the deceased because most of the residents of that area said that they did not know him.
The leader asked the residents of Kayonza City to plant short crops to prevent the undeveloped fields from becoming a den of thieves or violence, the people who have land in this city and were asked to build it and they were also asked to avoid self-harvesting, but to go to the authorities and help them.
