Jeff Bezos is no longer the richest man in the world

Business Feature News International

Date 04, March, 2024 The Bloomberg had announced that Jeff Bezos, who runs Amazon, is the richest man in the world. However, three days later, he was ousted from the position by long-time Frenchman Bernard Arnauld after Elon Musk removed it.

As of Thursday, March 07, 2024, Arnauld has $197 billion and Bezzos has $196 billion, which means that in the last three days, the Frenchman has surpassed the American by $1 billion.

Bernard Jean Étienne Arnault is a French businessman, investor and art collector while Bezos and Musk are making technology.
Data provided by The Bloomberg and Forbes Magazine (both are American newspapers) show that out of the top 10 richest people in the world, eight (8) of them were saved by investing in technology.
They are Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Steve Ballmer, Larry Ellison, Larry Page and Sergey Brin.

All of them are Americans, including Warren Buffett, who has invested in agriculture.
Apparently Americans own the wealth of the world more than anyone else.

And this is not just now because they have been the most dollar($) in the world for a long time.

The world’s richest person for a long time was Bill Gates, the owner of the technology company Microsoft.

Analysts of what is happening in the world, especially in the field of economics, say that this extreme inequality in wealth is one of the main causes of conflict among its inhabitants.

In 2019, a report was published that emphasized this issue.
One of its paragraphs read: “[…] The world’s eight richest people own the same wealth as 3.6 billion of the world’s poorest people.”

It also says that the majority of the world’s poor are women, which is a sad fact because many of these women are the breadwinners.

There are some who worry that if things continue like this it will lead to civil unrest and much of the world.
