The Rwandan police has put out an announcement informing those who want to bid for the job of taking care of the hygiene of dogs used in security management, writing letters of application for work, and what they must meet, including being loyal in morals and ethics.
It is contained in a statement released by the Rwanda Police this morning, February 26, 2024.
This statement was signed by the Commissioner for Personnel in Rwanda Police, ACP Jacque Burora; It shows the requirements for those who want to bid for this job, including a job application letter addressed to the Director of Personnel in the Rwanda Police.
It also includes “being a Rwandan, knowing how to read and write well in Rwanda, having a healthy lifestyle, a certificate of moral and ethical integrity, and having worked with the security forces would be an advantage.”
This announcement states that the application letters must be submitted to the office of the Director of Personnel in the Rwanda Police and the requirements, no later than March 05, 2024.
The Rwandan police recently revealed more about dogs used in security management, where he said they need more attention.
The Rwandan police said that there are highly skilled professionals including doctors, nurses and those who take care of their hygiene and well-being in general.
CIP Dr. Robert Mugabe, the doctor who monitors the health of the dogs, said, “We always check their health and feed them according to their diet, their health and nutrition are taken care of. They eat once every 24 hours, and each dog eats about 500 grams.”
