Last week, eight students of Sainte Trinité Nyanza T.S.S were expelled after protesting that the school had dirty tables.

They were protesting against the administration’s decision that the students will eat in classes (séries) where the students in the sixth year went to eat in the same class as the students in the third year (tronc-commun).

Some of the sixth graders refused, saying that they shouldn’t go to dinner with the children.
The school administration decided to look at the students who were leading others in the riots, expelling eight (8) of them permanently.
He said, “If a child is naughty, he may be punished at the weekend or sent to his parent to reprimand him, but making a decision to expel him completely is not appropriate.”

He says that he does not support wrongdoing but as a parent he would first set his own because he was shocked to see that his child was expelled completely and he already has no known wrongdoings.

He admitted to MUSEKE that during the entire time he was raised in the center he was never called to attend the center because of any mistake of his child.
The headmaster of SainteTrinité Nyanza T.S.S, the assistant in charge of education, Tuyishimere Jean Damascene says that the students made a mistake and protested because they refused to eat with others and the decision was made to expel them completely.

He told UMUSEKE that parents should be called first, which is not always the case because it depends on the severity of the error.

He said, “The student did not commit adultery, he did not protest and other heavy crimes such that due to the rules of the institution, we have to call the parent. He was immediately fired. And what is sent to the mother is a mistake.
The Mayor of Nyanza Ntazinda Erasme says that they have learned about the dismissal and have requested a report from the school management.

The report is said to have reached the District administration (on Tuesday).

Ntazinda says that in order for these students to be reinstated to study in that school, it would be because of the mistakes they have made, but they will look at everything in the report they would have received and follow them carefully to find out what happened.

Although the district administration says that they are investigating, on the other hand there are reports that the administration advised the school administration to expel the students.
However, Ntazinda Erasme denies this, and says that they have no role in it and that they will be expelled from the area later.

Sainte Trinité Nyanza T.S.S School is located in Kigoma Sector in Nyanza District.

It is taught by those sent by the government and others who study privately.
