The report of the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) shows that in the research done by this agency, it found that Ngororero District is less clean than others in Rwanda. The district of Kicukiro is ahead of others in terms of cleanliness and light.
Statistics show that Kicukiro District in 2022 had a percentage of cleanliness of 86.6%, which is a change of 2.3% in 2023, while Ngororero had a percentage of 67.1, if you compare it with what it was like in 2021 and find that it has dropped to -10.1%
The table showing how the districts are divided in terms of sanitation shows that the second district in terms of cleanliness is Nyamasheke as it follows Kicukiro with a percentage of 78.6%.
After Nyamasheke comes Rwamagana, followed by Gasabo District, followed by Nyarugenge District.
However, the statistics show that even though these two areas of Kigali are in the first place, on the other hand, we have fallen because we have dropped the percentage of -1.1% in Gasabo and -5.2% in Nyarugenge.
Bugesera district, where the airport is located, is in 13th place and has gone up by 1.3% and has a score of 71.8%.
