Hamas released a video on Sunday showing three Israeli hostages in captivity in Gaza, The undated tape shows Noa Argamani, 26, Yossi Sharabi, 53 and Itai Svirsky, 38, each saying their name, age and place of residence while looking directly into the camera.
In what seems to be a montage of three clips, Argamani, Sharabi and Svirsky ask Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to “stop the war” and “bring us home.” It is not clear whether the hostages were speaking under duress. The video is about 30 seconds long.
CNN cannot verify when or where the clips were filmed.
A caption that reads, “Tomorrow we will inform you of their fate” in Arabic, Hebrew and English is displayed on the screen at the end of the footage, The Israeli government has not commented on the video. Previously, it called the practice of releasing hostage videos “psychological warfare.”
The video was released on the 100th day of the war, a milestone that was widely commemorated across Israel, Hamas and other groups took around 240 hostages into Gaza during the October 7 attacks. More than 100 Israeli and foreign hostages were freed during a truce in late November, with Palestinians held in Israeli prisons being released in exchange for the Israelis.
Israel believes 132 October 7 hostages are still being held in Gaza, Netanyahu’s office told CNN that it believed 25 of those hostages are dead, with their remains still being held in Gaza. That leaves 107 hostages from the Hamas attack last year who are still thought to be alive.
