About eight companies have been allocated 100 buses that have arrived in Kigali, where they will transport passengers in different directions.

These buses come after the government decided to buy them, with the aim of reducing the queues that often appear at the waiting areas.

It is a program that aims to facilitate investors in the transportation of people and goods in the city of Kigali. So far, the winners of the tender have been presented and they have started transporting passengers.

8 companies were allocated these vehicles, after meeting the requirements. These companies are: Yahoo Car Express with 15 cars, Remera Transport Cooperative with 10 buses, Nyabugogo Transport Cooperative with 10, City Center Transport Cooperative with 10 buses, S.U Direct Services with 5 buses, Jali Transport with 13 buses, Hakaza 4G Ju Transport Ltd it has 7 cars and RITCO has 30 cars.

They are electric vehicles that are used to transport passengers. They are buses with a capacity of 70 people.
It is expected that an agreement will be signed between these companies and the Development Bank of Rwanda (BRD), regarding these vehicles and the winners will be officially presented.
