Congolese refugees in Rwanda staged a protest

Congolese refugees who are housed in various camps in Rwanda, have again staged protests against the Genocide that is being perpetrated against their relatives of the Congolese Tutsis, speaking to those who accuse them of this massacre.

These Congolese refugees, including those who have been fleeing for more than 20 years in Rwanda, because of the murderous acts often committed against the Congolese who speak the Rwandan language, especially the Tutsis.
The protests took place in various camps including Kiziba in Karongi District and Nkamira in Rubavu District in Western Province.

These refugees carried placards with messages they wanted to convey, including the following: “Congo refugees, we condemn the genocide being carried out by the DRC/Kinshara state, against the Tutsis of North Kivu, the Mulenges of South Kivu and the Hemas of Ituri. ”

In loud voices, these refugees say that this Genocide is being carried out by “Tshisekedi, it is being carried out by FARDC, it is being carried out by UDPS, it is being carried out by SADC, it is being carried out by the Burundians, it is being carried out by Wazalendo,…”

These refugees also managed to regroup the FDLR group, which consists of some of the survivors who committed the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, and continued to spread its ideology in eastern Congo.

One of the leaders of this demonstration in Kiziba Camp in Karongi District said, “The Interahamwe-FDLR have taken us from our homes and are living in our fields, we need them.”

At the end of 2022, Congolese refugees accommodated in various camps in Rwanda also staged protests, when the killing of Congolese who speak Rwandan was intensified in Congo.

It is an ongoing massacre by the FDLR group and other armed groups, which has been in collaboration with the FARDC in the fight against the State Army (FARDC) and the M23 group.
