It’s been a while The BasiGo Society announced that those Buses that use the Electricity technology were reached in the Eastern Africa in Kenya, And were about to reach Rwanda after the the Agreements and other issues to agreed with.

In the Speech of BasiGo in the 10th Anniversary of the FONERWA Foundation that Sponsors the Projects for the Protection of the Environments and Infrastructures and fighting Against Climatic Changes. BasiGo announced that they are happy for the Anniversary Ceremonies but again they are Officially launching their new Electronic Buses that use the Electricity Power that now landed in Rwanda.

Through the X, Formal Twitter BasiGo announced that “We are highly appreciating the 10th Anniversary of the FONERWA And we are also launching the Project of the New Delivery of the Buses that use Electricity from Kenya that will help Rwandans in the Transport Sector and helps in Avoidance of Air Pollution.

FONERWA announced that the Visitors that attended this Ceremony that went in these Buses for the Electricity 100% of BasiGo will start this New Method in transporting people with their Properties aiming at Protecting Weather from being Affected.

On 20th November 2023, BasiGo Rwanda Society announced that have already trained the first category of the Drivers who will drive the Buses and were taught the good ways to drive them. The news out say that Already the Buses have arrived in Rwanda on 17 November 2023 and ready to start the Job.

Actually the BasiGo Rwanda provides these Electrical Buses to the others Transport Companies, And they pay the Rent for them according to the Kilometers that the Bus travelled knows as “Pay- As-You- Drive”

This is the service that archieved after BasiGo were bringing these Buses in Kenya and opened the Branch in Rwanda and had signed the the agreement deal with AC Mobilty that helps people in paying for the transport by Technology of Cards called “Tap & Go”.

BasiGo Rwanda announced that this Program will begin with Kigali Transport Agencies like “Kigali Bus Services {KBS}, Royal Express and Volcano Express” and confirms that they will support those Agancies the Fuel Stations to deal with their Electricity and repairing them when broken.

BasiGo Rwanda announced that in Association with The Rwandan Government that wanted to increase the Transportation Cars and the USAID they planning that in 2025 there will be atleast 200 Electric Buses in Rwanda. And this will be to encourage the Investors to invest in this project.
