Countries that share borders with Haiti have begun to transfer their workers to Eastern Haiti. The United States of America also asked its citizens to leave Haiti urgently.
Haiti has been in a state of insecurity since Sunday, when unidentified assailants attacked the main prison in the capital Port-au-Prince, freeing 3,700 inmates. More than 10 people have been identified as having died in the attack.
The attackers said that the next step is to take over the country.
