Elections have begun in Russia and abroad, and Russians must choose who will lead them in the future. It is an important election for this country which is at war with Ukraine which started in 2022.
One of the unique features of this election is that approximately 4.7 million people voted electronically.
Incumbent President Vladimir Putin is up against Vladislav Davankov of the New People’s Party), Leonid Slutsky of the LDPR and Nikolay Kharitonov of the Communist Party of Russia.
