Rwandan Serial killer Kazungu was sentenced to life in prison

Nyarugenge High Court convicted Kazungu Denis of all 10 charges and sentenced him to life imprisonment.
It is the decision of the Court that was taken on March 8, 2024.Crimes against Black people include involuntary manslaughter, forced rape, torture, illegal access to computer data or computer networks, concealment of a body, use of threats and illegal confinement.

In the case that took place on February 9, 2024, the Prosecution asked the court to testify against Kazungu for all these crimes, and then sentenced him to life imprisonment, with a fine of 10 million Frw.

Kazungu admitted to all these crimes, asking the court to lighten his sentence, based on the fact that he provided information that was needed during the investigation.
He explained that he committed these crimes alone, testifying that he did them brutally and that he could not find any explanation as to what he intended because he was not poor enough to be said to be looking for a dowry.
Kazungu was arrested in September 2023 when detectives discovered a hole containing the bodies of those he believed to have killed.
This hole was in the kitchen where he was staying, in Busanza cell, Kanombe Sector in Gasabo district.
