Rwanda and the UAE are committed to the development of education

The Government of Rwanda and the United Arab States, UAE, have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at promoting education between the two countries.

This agreement was signed on March 7 by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Rwanda, Dr. Vincent Biruta and Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab States.

These dignitaries and the groups they led had previously chaired the 1st meeting of the joint committee for cooperation between the two countries,
Minister Biruta in his speech said that through this cooperation, they aim to strengthen and exchange knowledge, cooperate in research and increase the capacity of the youth and lay the foundation for the future where the youth can progress in the rest of the world that has become a village.

In addition to the signed agreement, President Kagame received in Urugwiro Village the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab States, Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, to discuss the continued improvement of relations and cooperation between the two countries in in different ways.


Rwanda and the United Arab Emirates also cooperate in other areas including investment, trade, tourism and air transport, political consulting, military and diplomacy because both countries now have ambassadors representing them in each.
