The Ambassador of Ukraine to Rwanda says that the war they are in with Russia is not recent because it started a long time ago

Although February 24, 2024 will be the year that Russia’s latest war on Ukraine will begin, the country actually started fighting Ukraine in 2014 when it seized its Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts.

People know that at that time Russia also occupied Crimea.

So the recent war was serious and aimed at all of Ukraine being taken over by Russia in the time of unity, a month…

However, two years later, Ukraine is still a country with stable institutions despite being at war.

Even half of what the Russians had helped has already been captured, which Ukraine did through attacks on Russian ships stationed in the Black Sea and in aid provided by friendly countries.

However, it seems that Russia is not leaving its goal of continuing to fight with Ukraine and occupying its parts.

In order to continue this plan, the Russian army continues to fire missiles at Ukrainian cities, killing soldiers and civilians, not to mention destroying infrastructure.

Two years of war between Ukraine and Russia proved that the Russians’ calculations that they would take over Ukraine in the blink of an eye were miscalculated.

These Russian figures indicated that soon the border structure between Russia and Ukraine will be redrawn, occupying other parts of it, but so far that goal has not been achieved.
Ukraine stands firm, defends its sovereignty fiercely and the world has shown its support for Ukraine not to be invaded as the haters see it.

This country is one of the first in the world to seek peace, but it also knows that in order to be seen, it is necessary that the attackers be removed from its territory.

The problem is not Ukraine but the country that started the war which is Russia.

Russia is seeking talks based on its desire for parts of Ukraine to be its own and it doesn’t like that.

It wants to have parts of Ukraine under control and so this country will not accept it. What Ukraine wants is a dialogue that includes respect and peace, but based on the provisions of international laws governing the sovereignty of states.

Ukraine asks all the countries of the world, including Rwanda, to continue working with it, lest they fall into the trap of what Russia declares to attract independence.

The country says that helping it fight against Russia is a sign that it will no longer have another country at its helm.
Every crime and every sinner should be punished according to the law.

Since the war has been going on for almost two years, no one knows when it will end and this world is also a big problem, but the most important thing is to know how Ukraine will handle it and close it.

It appreciates every leader in the world and Rwanda for being close to it in one way or another, which is still the case.

Ukraine will continue to fight and will win, show the world that the fight for truth and freedom is possible.
