A student studying at the MTC TSS Vocational School was caught by the police at Muhanga Railway Station and went into the bathroom and gave birth.
The Executive Secretary of Nyamabuye Nshimiyimana Sector Jean Claude says that the student asked the school management for permission to go home sick and they gave him permission.
Nshimiyimana says that the administration said that it had no information that this student was pregnant.
He said, “We arrived there together with the security agencies and those from the Sheriff’s Office. We found that she had given birth and they are all alive.”
The Executive Secretary said that they brought a car to take them to Kabgayi so that the doctors would take care of them because they are the ones in charge.
This student is 18 years old and comes from Musambira Sector in Kamonyi District.
