A Ugandan priest has been arrested by security forces, accused of raping a 17-year-old girl.

The priest worked at the Dabani parish where he was immediately detained at the Dabani Police Station before being sent to the Busai Police Station.

One of the police officers who did not wish to be named, who spoke to Daily Monitor, said that they tested and found that the child was molested and they are waiting for the doctor’s tests to show if the priest does not have the AIDS virus so that he could have infected the child.
