A woman named Bazabagira Apolinie, known as Asia, from Nyarugenge District, is suspected of killing her husband, Tuyizere Fidele, by stabbing him.
The news of this death was announced on the morning of Thursday, February 2, 2024, in Katabaro Police Station, Kimisagara Sector, Nyarugenge District.
The information provided by the neighbors of the deceased, says that the two usually work as a butcher in Nyabugogo’s farm.
They insist on its origin, saying that they are believed to have died 20,000 frw as they told BTN TV.
One said: “But the news as I heard, died 20000 frw. When they got up from work, the woman told him to give me the 20,000 frw you have. The man said to him, come up and I will meet you at home. When he got home, they went to the room where they stayed, and someone came looking for a house. The woman was preparing seeds for the child in the room, if the man slapped her, the woman immediately stabbed him.”
The head of the village of Omurini, Hategekimana Aolphe, said that the family was already living in conflict but it was unknown.
He said, “The news we got, without asking the people, they told us that it was a woman and a man who fought but the man was stabbed. The man went to the doctor to heal but the woman said that they used to fight.”
He asked the people to start reporting on time.
The suspect was then arrested while her husband rushed to the doctor but died.
