Soldiers in the Rwandan Army (RDF), including officers and other ranks, have completed the Advanced Infantry Training (AIT), which they had been in for seven months.

The exercise closed on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the Nasho Basic Training Center located in Kirehe District, The Commander-in-Chief of the Rwandan Armed Forces, Gen Mubarakh Muganga, on behalf of the President of the Republic and the Supreme Leader of the RDF, His Excellency Paul Kagame, concluded the exercise.

Gen. Mubarakh Muganga praised those who completed the training, and emphasized that they should continue to prioritize decency and morality in everything they do, He said that the high level of fighting skills that they got out of the training will help them to fulfill the duties they are called to in the RDF.

Gen Mubarakh also presented awards to the best performers in the exercise, Extensive training is provided to the ground forces, which aims to help them expand and improve their knowledge from basic military courses, and also prepare them to perform their professional duties as ground forces in helping the RDF achieve its goals.
