Bishop Dr. Rugagi Innocent, the Senior Pastor of the Redeemed Gospel Church, finds that a BBC reporter who recently did an investigative story that exposes the sins Prophet TB Joshua committed while he was still alive is like mocking the dead body because the owner is not there to say anything about it.

Temitope Balogun Joshua (TB Joshua), who became a popular prophet on the African continent, has been accused of sexually abusing and torturing his followers two years after his death.

It was revealed in an investigative report by the BBC, which announced that it has been investigating this prophet from Nigeria for two years, and has found evidence of SCOAN (Synagogue Church Of All Nations) members who committed these crimes.

Bishop Dr. Rugagi said that no one can know for sure whether what is being said is true or not because the owner is not available to speak and therefore the BBC reporter is unprofessional.

He said, “It is possible that it would have happened when he was still in his weakness, but someone who is dead is difficult, it is sad to talk about him, it is rude, and the BBC journalist is not professional.”

He added: “It did not fail to do that story while TB Joshua is still alive, a man who started evangelism many years ago and the BBC has been around for thousands of years. Yes, maybe this journalist may have met two, five or 10 people, but if there are 100 people who tell him, I don’t know… He is not making a story because of what happened to TB Joshua, but he is making a story that aims to destroy, discourage, remove the belief because he is a Muslim. It’s not his sympathy for the Christian church, we don’t have the same faith.”

He asked Christians and saved people to be vigilant because they have reached the time of the last days and thus become stronger.

He said, “If anyone can be fooled by a BBC story, it’s not a Christian I swear. Saying that you would leave the faith with someone who is no longer in that world, you did not enter.”

Bishop Dr. Rugagi Innocent took the opportunity to ask Christians not to be swayed by what they hear on social media because otherwise the future of God’s servants will be attacked, persecuted and abused.
