Denis Kazungu is a Rwandan serial killer who murdered 14 people, most of whom were women. At the time of his arrest, he ran a motorcycle spare parts shop.
At the Nyarugenge High Court, a man named Bahirumwe Jerome appeared, together with a lawyer, saying “Kazungu killed a child named Kimenyi Yves”.
Bahirumwe said that his son went missing on November 12, 2021. He said that the 31-year-old boy had visited him at home, and was coming home.
On November 20, 2021, his daughter was called by people who told her to go and manage the house her old man lived in (he was renting it).
His neighbors told him that the boy’s possessions were taken by Kazungu Denis.
Since then they started searching everywhere, filed a complaint in the RIB, went to the hospital everywhere they lost their child.
RIB said they searched and failed, and they searched and failed. He said, “But we continue to believe that we will find someone who has not saved us.”
This man who has a son, says that his son was a worker because he studied at ULK in Kigali, he is studying at the University in Uganda/Kampala, he is the breadwinner of the family.
When it became known that there was a young man named Kazungu Denis who was killing people, they went to the RIB, they went to interrogate them, they took DNA samples and they are still waiting for an answer.
The man says that he once met Kazungu and begged him to tell him about the death of his child.
